Jennifer knew at a young age that she loved art, at the age of 10 she used her allowance to purchase an enameling kit from Sears and taught herself. She was a painter and line drawer and entered art school at the Museum of Fine Art School (now called the Glassell School of Art) in Houston, Texas. Jennifer signed up for a class in Lithography (never got to take it) and no one else signed up so she had to pick new class. That class was jewelry making and she absolutely fell in love with working with silver . That course changed her life.
