I am fascinated by Pre-hispanic and Hispanic culture, honor of the dead and the bold imagery. When I was a child, My mother taught art at the university in Mexico city as part of a exchange program. Mexico city is rich with art and culture. Those summers were spent wandering the galleries in Mexico city and visiting the pyramids. I remember that time with fondness. Recently I discovered that my paternal grandmother was wed several times, one of her husbands was from Mexico. FYI: Did you know that one of the main galleries in Mexico city holds the second largest Rodin collection in the world on permanent loan to the people from a private collector?
