Jimmy Bowen and Sante Fe

Jimmy Bowen was for many years a member of The Country Gentlemen and also Continental Divide. He now leads his own band, Santa Fe.

It was Jimmy Bowen’s father who sparked his love of music when he bought him his first guitar at a flea market when Jimmy was just age seven. By the time he was 10, Jimmy was playing acoustic lead guitar in his father’s Bluegrass band. Just a year later, Jimmy was performing in different bar venues in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.
